Family medicine-directed hepatitis C care and barriers to treatment: a mixed method study

This study captured provider-identified barriers to HCV care and the key factors related to retention in HCV care, including gender, age, housing status, and experience with drug use. This study examined the epidemiology of HCV in a large, multisite academic primary care organization, and identified the perceived barriers and facilitators to HCV treatment.
