An interprofessional urban health elective focused on social determinants

This article describes a novel interprofessional elective focused on urban health, taught through the lens of the social determinants of health. This elective is found to be innovative in engaging students in interprofessional learning on how health and social agencies collaborate to tackle social determinants in urban spaces.
