Niknaz Akbarpour is a Life Sciences student at McMaster University with an interest in public health and population health research. She is passionate about understanding how social, environmental, and policy factors shape health outcomes and health systems. Her current work focuses on One Health approaches to public health preparedness and governance, particularly the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in addressing complex health challenges.
