Rochelle Ofori

About

Rochelle is the Research Projects Coordinator at Upstream Lab. She earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto, where she specialized in Neuroscience and Physiology. Through her experiences in community health centres, hospitals, and at Partners Community Health, she developed a strong interest in how social and structural factors influence health outcomes. Conversations with patients and their families highlighted the challenges many face in navigating fragmented systems of care, inspiring her commitment to research that advances the integration of health and social care.

Prior to joining Upstream Lab, Rochelle contributed to research investigating the neural foundations of social, cognitive, and moral development in infants and young children at the University of Toronto. She also supported initiatives at the Baycrest Academy for Research and Education that promoted brain health and healthy aging through evidence-based assessments, research, and community engagement.
