Ower Alexander Oberto is a Latino living with HIV who works as a peer navigator, using his lived experience to help others navigating the complexities of the Canadian system. He is currently supporting the Work, health, and living with HIV project at the Upstream Lab.
I am interested in participating in this project because as a Latino immigrant, I faced many systematic barriers that are addressed in this project. I am pretty sure that many other immigrants may also be experiencing the same struggles that I faced.
