About

Amanda is a second-year medical student at the University of Toronto, and a KRSS summer student at the Upstream Lab. She has completed her MSc in Global Health at McMaster University, where her scholarly work focused on palliative care for individuals experiencing homelessness. Prior to this, she completed her Honours BSc at the University of Waterloo in the Health Studies Co-op program with specializations in Health Research and Gerontology.

At the Upstream Lab, she will be working on the Quadruple Aim project which includes a scoping review and deliberative dialogue focused on understanding how public health and healthcare systems collaborate to achieve the goals of the Quadruple Aim. This work aligns well with her interests in health policy and understanding how the social determinants of health impact the health of communities. Her prior work experience includes working at the ON Ministry of Health and The Evaluation Centre for Complex Health Interventions.
