About

Dr. Ananya Tina Banerjee is an Assistant Professor and the lead for Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Anti-Racism at the School of Population and Global Health, McGill University. Her interdisciplinary research integrates epidemiology and qualitative methods, with a strong foundation in community-based participatory approaches. Collaborating closely with civil society and grassroots organizations, her work has been supported by leading funders, including the Lancet Commission. Dr. Banerjee has published extensively in The Lancet, contributing to the global dialogue on health equity and anti-racism. She also serves on The Lancet’s International Advisory Board for Racial Inequalities, helping shape policy and research on a global scale.
