About

Jasmeet Sekhon is a Research Assistant II at the Upstream Lab. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from McMaster University. Prior to joining the Upstream Lab, Jasmeet gained three years of research experience at Providence Healthcare.

At the Upstream Lab, she contributes to projects including PREPARED and TreatResp. Drawing on her interdisciplinary background, Jasmeet is passionate about connecting the scientific foundations of research with the lived experiences of communities and individuals. She is committed to advancing research that not only upholds scientific excellence but also centers the voices, experiences and needs of the communities it serves.
