Katrina is a medical student at the University of Toronto and is a student in the Upstream Lab. Before starting at UofT, she studied chemical engineering at Western University and worked as a management consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Katrina is interested in the intersection of technology, medicine, and health equity, which drew her to the Upstream Lab. Katrina was working on the AI for Primary Care (AI4PC) project, focusing on the barriers that patients, providers, and health leaders feel when implementing AI in primary care settings. Additionally, she applied her clinical knowledge to the electronic medical record AI prediction project.
