Lauren is a fourth-year undergraduate student at Western University, graduating with her Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences with a Specialization in Biology this Spring. Her research interests lie in health equity and accessibility, as well as mental health and well-being. Prior to the Upstream Lab, Lauren was a research student in the Kimel Lab at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), where she completed two projects on the relationship between functional connectivity and cognition, and suicidal ideation, respectively. At CAMH, Lauren fostered a passion for mental health research and hoped to shift from neuropsychiatry to holistic health.
