Natricha Levy McFarlane is an experienced clinical research professional and freelance medical writer. She holds a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Biochemistry from the University of the West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica.
Natricha has worked in areas such as chronic disease prevention and control, communicable disease surveillance, health promotion and protection, epidemiological research, women’s health and child health research. Some of her notable projects include managing a national health promoting schools survey, coordinating multiple studies as part of the largest pediatric research network in Canada, and writing a 5-year national epidemiological profile of selected health conditions and services.
With her background in public health and health research, joining the Upstream Lab as a Research Coordinator II is a natural fit for Natricha. She is excited to contribute to the significant work that the lab is doing in tackling the social determinants of health, as a means of improving population health and well-being.
