About
Onlak Ruangsomboon is a Research Coordinator at the Upstream Lab, supporting the AFTERMATH, AREA-RESP, and HDRN projects. Onlak holds a Doctor of Medicine degree and an Emergency Medicine specialty certificate from Thailand. She just completed her MSc degree in Health Research Methodology from McMaster University before joining the lab in July 2023. Onlak has extensive experience in conducting quantitative studies and trials in Emergency Medicine. She has particular interests in health analytics, informatics, and machine learning. She hopes to contribute to quantitative projects and also to learn and gain hands-on experience with AI and machine learning at the Upstream Lab.
