Paul Wankah is a Health Systems and Policy Researcher at the Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences, McGill University. His research is centered around health system transformation, focused on equity promoting integrated health and social care services for people with complex needs and equity-deserving groups. Paul is interested in studying innovative community-based integrated care models, and the conditions for successfully implementing these models in real-world contexts.
Health system transformation is not just about designing better policies or models of care—it’s about embedding those changes into practice. Implementation science provides the roadmap for making transformation real, sustainable, and responsive to complex, real-world contexts.
