Pruthuvie is an undergraduate student at the University of Toronto, pursuing her Honours Bachelor of Science in Population Health, Biology and Psychology. Her research interests and passion lie in applied public/community health, nutrition, adolescent health, and health equity. Pruthuvie is currently a Keenan Summer Research Student at the Upstream Lab and is supporting the machine learning bias project on population health models. In the future, she is hoping to be a healthcare professional contributing to research and providing services to marginalized populations, especially her community (Tamil population) and the Indigenous population. Outside of the lab, she loves exploring Toronto, teaching youth, and volunteering.
