Rebecca is pursuing her MSc. in Health Services Research at the Institute of Health Policy, Management, and Evaluation at the University of Toronto, with collaborative specializations in both Public Health Policy and Community Development. Her thesis research focuses on the development and validation of a case finding algorithm which processes primary care electronic data to identify health services use within older adults with multimorbidity. Within the Upstream Lab, she is also leading a project which explores local economic interventions as alternatives to capitalism. Rebecca is passionate about addressing health equity, the social determinants of health, and community-led and engaged health solutions.
