Rumi joined the Upstream Lab in September 2022 as a Research Admin. She supports administrative tasks across the lab and is pursuing her Honours Bachelor of Health Administration at Toronto Metropolitan University. She holds a Master’s in Public Health from the National Institute of Preventive and Social Medicine, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Prior to joining the Upstream Lab, she was a research assistant at Ryerson University, where she assisted in a project investigating the impact of AI recommendations on the decision process in pathology. Currently, she is a practicum research student with the Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences, evaluating the outcomes of IMR therapy in the forensic psychiatric department.
