Thomas is a medical student at the University of Toronto and is currently working part-time at the Upstream Lab. Previously, Thomas obtained his BHSc in Biomedical Discovery and Commercialization from McMaster University and worked as a Project Lead at InnovoGENE Biosciences Inc. Thomas is interested in artificial intelligence and how it can be used to improve various aspects of healthcare. At the Upstream Lab, Thomas is working on projects involving the prediction of health service use with electronic medical record data through machine learning.
