Zahin Islam joined the Upstream Lab as a Research Fellow in November 2023. He holds a B.S. in Systems/Computational Biology from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, US and is a Fulbright Scholar from the United States. In the Upstream Lab, he works in the Data Science Cluster supporting the AREA-RESP, AI to Predict Hospitalizations for Vulnerable Older Patients, and ANTICIPATE projects. He is excited to learn about how AI can help advance public health initiatives and positively impact patients and their communities.
