Jillian holds a BMSc from Western University and a MSc of laboratory medicine from University of Toronto. Jillian is now a combined MD/PhD student at University of Toronto, currently pursuing her PhD studies in Health Services Research at the Institute of Health Policy, Management, and Evaluation. Her dissertation focuses on heart disease management in people experiencing homelessness and the co-design of a new care pathway for these folks in Toronto. Including communities and people of lived experience as co-researchers is the core of this work. Jill’s daily motto is “be somebody who makes everybody feel like a somebody”.
