Prior to joining the Upstream Lab, Danial was involved in research trials observing the combined effects of smoked cannabis and tobacco, and other routes of administration of cannabis such as edibles on both driving and cognition. He has also been involved in research projects that studied adverse childhood experiences as important risk factors for health outcomes such as primary headache disorders and cancer. His interest in research trials and exploring the relation between social determinants of health and clinical outcomes has led him to the Upstream Lab, where he will be supporting the SPARK and AFTERMATH projects.
