Paras recently joined the Upstream Lab as a Research Assistant. Previously, he obtained his HBSc from the University of Toronto and his MSc at the Institute of Medical Science, University of Toronto. His primary focus in the lab is to help further address health disparities in Canada by examining the interaction between the social determinants of health and risk factors for chronic diseases. Additionally, he will be supporting the CanTreatCOVID study.
