Radha is an incoming second-year medical student at the University of Toronto. She completed an Honours Bachelor of Science at McMaster University in Life Sciences, with a thesis focusing on the impact of diet on cardiovascular health outcomes. At the Upstream Lab, she is contributing to recruitment for the CanTreatCOVID study and a systematic review related to the role of antioxidant treatment for COVID-19 prognosis. She is interested in the social determinants of health, COVID-19 in low-SES communities, and primary care. Her personal and research interests have drawn her to the Upstream Lab, where she hopes to make a difference in local GTA communities as a future physician and scientist.
