Tanvi is a medical student at the University of Toronto. Tanvi remembers hearing about the Upstream lab during her undergraduate years and found it to be very intriguing. She believes the lab addresses many unique social aspects of healthcare that are often neglected.
Tanvi has a strong interest in the social determinants of health and health equity. She previously worked with Results Canada and has completed a co-curricular Global Health and Equity Program. Tanvi is currently a part of the CanTreatCOVID project. She is particularly excited to help engage diverse Canadian populations typically underrepresented in research.
