Employment interventions in health settings: a systematic review and synthesis

In this review, studies of both employment interventions in health care settings and common characteristics of successful interventions are identified by combining a systematic review and knowledge synthesis. The objective was to identify interventions implemented within health care settings that assisted patients with gaining employment, and to ascertain common characteristics of successful interventions, in order to inform new ways to address employment as a social determinant of health.
