Healthcare system action on employment as a social determinant of health in people living with HIV: A qualitative study

People living with HIV have higher unemployment rates compared to the general population. While finding and keeping a job is essential for good health, little is known about how healthcare providers can support their patients in this area. A recent study published in PLOS ONE found that healthcare providers and some patients agree that integrating employment programs with healthcare services could be beneficial for people living with HIV.
