Health Data for All of Us: Earning Trust Through Transparency is Health Data Research Network (HDRN) Canada’s second annual hybrid public forum for researchers, community groups, members of the public and policymakers to engage with topics related to health data access and use in Canada.

Lost in Translation: Trust in the Era of Big Data + AI is a panel discussion scheduled from 3:20 PM – 4:20 PM. Moderated by Rob Semiuk, panelists Dr. Alison Paprica, Dr. Andrew Pinto and Dr. Cécile Petitgand will discuss emergent and burning issues coalescing around AI and the use of big data, including public mistrust, embedded bias, privacy concerns and the need for data literacy and ethical guidelines.
