Disha joined Upstream Lab in November 2023 as a Research Assistant, specifically working within the CanTreatCOVID research team. She graduated with a Bachelor’s in Science majoring in Biomedical Sciences from York University. Her honours thesis focused on interstitial glucose’s role in muscle fatigue. Disha’s other research interests include exploring ways technology can improve healthcare delivery. In her free time, Disha enjoys playing the piano, hanging out with friends and reading.
