Jinfan joined the Upstream Lab in July 2022 and is the Research Coordinator supporting the qualitative coding of the SPARK Prospective and Psychometric Study, the Quadruple Aim scoping review, and the CanTreatCovid Study. Jinfan obtained a Honours Bachelor of Science (HBsc) in Psychology and Economics from the University of Toronto in 2020. Prior to joining the Upstream Lab, she acquired four years of quantitative and qualitative research experience in fields of Psychology, Organization Behaviours, and Indigenous Health. She also had two years of managerial experiences as a Research Coordinator supporting three mixed-method studies in Rotman School of Management. Her interests in health service research was kindled when she worked as a research assistant at Dalla Lana School of Public Health. She was involved in a study that examined the development of a Learning Health System. Her research interests are broad, which include but not limited to the social determinants of health, mental health promotion, quality indicator of psychiatric services, and health equity for marginalized populations.
