Kevin Maruthananth joined the Upstream Lab of St. Michael’s Hospital as a Research Coordinator II in 2023. He holds an HBSc in Life Sciences (focusing primarily on Health & Disease) from the University of Toronto. His main initiative is to help conduct research to improve public health and reduce health inequities, which is what drew him to join the Upstream Lab team. Kevin has prior experience in clinical research, working as a Clinical Assistant and as a Research Coordinator I. He has worked on various studies that focused on ocular and nasal reactions/diseases, such as allergies, dry-eye disease, and glaucoma to name a few. At this moment, he is working with the Upstream Lab team on the CanTreatCovid study.
