Maaha Farrukh joined the Upstream Lab at St. Michael’s Hospital as a Research Coordinator in March 2024. She completed her MSc in Forensic Psychology and has supported research in several areas such as wrongful convictions, impacts of education to reduce stigma, perceptions of criminality, and youth homelessness. Prior to joining the Upstream Lab, Maaha was involved in various projects related to practice-based research to enhance clinical practice and contribute to a culture of discovery at Unity Health Toronto. At the Upstream Lab, Maaha is currently working on the following studies: Adaptive Platform Trials in Pandemics, ANITA, SPARK, and ROAD.
