Ummay Salma Rahman is a Research Assistant at the Upstream Lab. She holds a Doctor of Medicine degree and a Master’s in Public Health from Bangladesh. She completed her MSc degree in Clinical Epidemiology from the University of Queensland, Australia. At the Upstream Lab, she is involved in supporting several projects. She has experience in project implementation including the National Tuberculosis Control Programme of Bangladesh. Her main research interests include women’s health, epidemiology, and the social determinants of health.
