About
Victoria has a BSc in Psychology and Health Studies and a MSc in Health Services Research at the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto. Her master’s thesis was supervised by Dr. Pinto, and explored patients’ perspectives on collecting information on the social determinants of health to inform patient care and equitable health outcomes in general internal medicine.
Victoria has experience with a variety of quantitative and qualitative research methods, from her work in health services, cognitive and neuropsychology, and global health. She is passionate about health equity, social care interventions in health settings, policy and program evaluation, and social justice. Victoria feels fortunate to work alongside and learn from patients, patient partners, and the team at the Upstream Lab.
