We’re hiring: Research Coordinator II
November 27, 2025Upstream Lab is looking for a full-time permanent Research Coordinator II to support our PREPARED initiative.
The Pandemic Preparedness Engaging Primary Care and Emergency Departments (PREPARED) initiative aims to build a national, integrated early warning system for pandemics by leveraging real-time clinical data, rapid diagnostic testing, and collaborative networks across primary care and emergency departments in six provinces.
The Research Coordinator II will play a key role in leading the day-to-day coordination of the PREPARED project, working closely with the Project Manager and Scientists. Responsibilities include managing Research Ethics Board submissions, building and maintaining REDCap databases, supporting Research Assistants across multiple sites, assisting with contract submissions, and overseeing data collection, training, and the overall progress of the project.
Qualifications include: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science field and 3 years of relevant experience or demonstrable equivalent combination of specialized education and experience. Master’s Degree preferred.
